Julie Freeman is currently artist-in-residence at the Microsystems and Nanotechnology Centre at Cranfield University, working with, amongst others, Professor Jeremy Ramsden whose group is researching self-assembled nanotextures to be used for stem cell sorting and the detection of pathogens.
